For Agencies & Consulting Firms

Client knowledge that
never walks out the door.

140,000+ agencies in the US manage client relationships across scattered tools. queri gives your team one place to ask anything about any client.

A story you already know

Alex left on Friday.
By Monday, nobody could find
anything they knew.

Alex was the AM everyone relied on. Four years at the agency. Knew every client's history, every vendor's quirks, every reason behind every decision that was never written down.

Need to know why you set up the Globex account with net-60 terms? Alex remembered. Wondering what the client actually said in that tense call last March? Alex was there. Can't find the brand guidelines the client sent over DM? Alex had them saved.

Alex didn't hoard knowledge on purpose. Nobody does. It just happens. The decisions get made in Slack threads that scroll away. The context lives in meetings nobody recorded. The "why" behind things accumulates in people's heads — and nowhere else.

hmm I think Alex handled that one. you could try checking the shared drive?

I've been through Drive, Notion, and email. Nothing. It was probably discussed in a Slack DM or a meeting that wasn't documented.

Alex's last day was Friday.

That was just Monday morning. By Wednesday, three more client questions surfaced that nobody could answer. By the end of the month, the team had collectively spent over 40 hours retracing steps, re-asking clients awkward questions, and rebuilding context that one person used to carry effortlessly.

70%

of what an account manager knows is lost within 24 hours of their departure.

The slow unraveling

The worst part isn't the dramatic moments. It's the slow drip of things you don't even know you've lost.

A client relationship cools because the new AM doesn't know the unwritten preferences: that they hate Monday meetings, that their CEO prefers executive summaries over detailed reports, that the real decision-maker isn't the one on the contract.

The most expensive knowledge in your agency was never in a document. It was in someone's head. And now it's gone.

Agencies are hit the hardest because each person holds a bigger piece of the client puzzle. When one of six people on an account leaves, you don't lose 16% of your capacity. You lose 30-40% of your client knowledge.

But what if it didn't have to be this way?

The fix

Now replay that Monday.

Same question. Different outcome.

Why does the Globex account have net-60 payment terms instead of our standard net-30?

The Globex account was set up with net-60 terms as part of the Q2 2024 contract negotiation. Based on a Slack conversation between Alex and Dana on April 14, 2024:

Globex agreed to a 2-year commitment (instead of annual) in exchange for extended payment terms. Alex noted: "net-60 was the dealbreaker — they were going to go with [competitor] otherwise. Worth it for the 2yr lock-in."

The terms were approved by Dana (VP Sales) and documented in the signed MSA (Google Drive, Contracts folder).

Alex's knowledge didn't leave. queri kept it.

Sound familiar?

Every agency feels this.

Pain 01

Account managers leave. Client context vanishes.

Every agency has felt it — a key AM departs and suddenly nobody knows why the client switched from Marketo to HubSpot, what the CEO said about rebrand timelines, or which contacts are the real decision-makers.

Pain 02

Client knowledge lives in 8 different tools.

Meeting notes in Notion, files in Drive, conversations in Slack, tickets in Zoho, proposals in email. Good luck finding that one thing the client mentioned 3 months ago.

Pain 03

Onboarding new team members takes months.

Every time someone joins an account, they spend weeks asking the same questions. The ramp-up tax compounds across every client.
